Machining and Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Programming  
Students will use hand and power tools and follow instructions on fabrication drawings to create metal projects. They will use manual milling equipment and describe correct equipment settings for characteristics of different materials. Students will use a variety of Computer Numerical Control (CNC) equipment and tools, and compare types of motor operation. They will apply estimating procedures to determine the cost of projects and write a project report.
