Minor in Policy Studies
Description
Students pursuing a Minor in Policy Studies will examine how sustainability goals can be achieved, as well as the ethics behind such goals.
Students will develop a deeper understanding of current sustainability challenges through the perspectives of geography, economics, law, philosophy, Indigenous studies, political science, and psychology, and mobilize their skills to complete community projects.
A Policy Studies Minor is a strong complement to a wide array of other KPU programs such as political science, geography, sustainable agriculture, urban ecosystems, economics, entrepreneurial leadership, marketing, psychology, and Indigenous studies. Graduates will be able to use the skills learned in Policy Studies to advance goals applicable to their majors and their careers. This Minor may be applied towards any KPU bachelor's degree.
