Final Examination Schedule
Final exams are held at the end of each instructional cycle. Start and end dates of exam periods can be found in the Academic Schedule.
Final exam dates and times can be found using the Browse Classes class search in the Registration app.
Final Examination Hardship
Students who have three or more synchronous final examinations scheduled on the same day may (a) take their final examinations as scheduled or (b) request alternate arrangements. This does not apply to take home exams, asynchronous exams, or final evaluations.
Students requesting resolution of a final examination hardship must email all instructors of the affected courses, no later than one month prior to the start of the exam period. Include the following information in your email:
- KPU student number
- Subject, Course Number, Section and CRN of all three courses
- Exam dates and times of all three courses
- Reason for request
If the instructor(s) are unable to resolve the examination hardship, the Dean will be consulted.
Final Examination Guidelines
It is the student's responsibility to attend the final examinations scheduled for their classes. Students should bring their KPU student ID card to exams. If a student is unable to provide an acceptable proof of identify, the instructor may deny the opportunity to take the exam.
The instructor may have other stipulations for exams that will be provided in class.
